Lymph Nodes

It is perfectly normal to have small lymph nodes in the neck and groin.  They may become more prominent when a child has a cold.  As long as they are small, moveable and not painful, they are not a problem.

Call or make an appointment online if:

  • Your child has an enlarging, red, painful lymph node
  • Your child has non-painful lymph nodes which are steadily getting larger or increasing in number
