Ben de Miranda, MD
Family Medicine
Dr. Ben de Miranda joined MANA FirstCare in July of 2010 at the Tontitown/West Springdale clinic. He has a medical degree from St. Matthew's University School of Medicine. Dr. de Miranda completed a family medicine residency program at University of Arkansas Area Health Education Center in Fayetteville. He is board certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. de Miranda enjoys the daily variance that family practice has to offer allowing interaction with newborns, seniors, and everyone in between. Ben was reared in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and attended undergraduate at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. In medical school he had the opportunity to spend a year abroad studying at Whipp's Cross University Hospital in London, England, and a year within the Emory Healthcare system in Atlanta, Georgia.
His interests include health care policy and sports medicine. He is a Team Physician for the University of Arkansas' Razorbacks and for the Har-Ber Wildcats. Dr. de Miranda loves following Razorback sports, participating in outdoor activities throughout Northwest Arkansas, playing golf, hunting, and fishing.
