Ron D. Lee, MD

Dr. Lee believes long-term care increases familiarity with patients' health problems, which in turn, promotes better outcomes. Dr. Lee grew up in Searcy, Arkansas. He received his bachelor of science in Zoology from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, then went on to Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, to receive his masters in Cell and Molecular Biology before attending the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock for his doctorate in medicine. He and his wife, Maggie, fell in love with Northwest Arkansas when he did his residency with AHEC and decided they wanted to raise their family here. They now have two wonderful boys. Maggie, formerly in marketing, now stays at home with their son. "We feel so blessed that our current situation allows this commitment," admits Lee.
Dr. Lee is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Practice. They attend Temple Baptist Church in Springdale where he serves as a Deacon and helps teach AWANA to the youth, his wife Maggie heads the nursery . When Dr. Lee is not practicing medicine, he enjoys golf, tennis, basketball, bow hunting, and snow skiing. He also spends a lot of his time serving as a coach on his sons soccer, t-ball, and basketball teams. Dr. Lee and his entire family are avid Razorback fans.
