Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Diane Serenson-Ungar is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who works with physicians at MANA's FirstCare Family Doctors in north Fayetteville. Diane received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the State University of New York at Binghamton in Binghamton, New York in 1986 and her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in Stony Brook, New York in 1989. She also received her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 1989. Diane has practiced in many fields including OB/GYN, Internal Medicine and Family Practice and has currently has been working at FirstCare Family Doctors North since 2001. Diane is a member of the Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association and American Nurses Association. She is also a preceptor for nurse practitioner students.
Diane and her husband, Peter, have two daughters, Rachel and Maya. They enjoy family activities including hiking, biking and carpooling! They also enjoy travel within the United States and internationally. Diane enjoys playing tennis and jogging too.
