We are committed
to enhancing patient care through quality laboratory testing.
MANA's laboratories are accredited
by the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA) as a "highly complex" laboratory
in the areas of chemistry, hematology, diagnostic immunology,
urinalysis, coagulation, and microbiology. The sample collection
area is staffed by experienced, trained phlebotomists with
a commitment to patient comfort and safety. Certified medical
technologists perform testing under the supervision of Tara Lindstrom MT (ASCP), Director of Laboratory Services.
Dr. Kevin Keller is the Laboratory Director and
the Clinical Laboratory Consultant.
Laboratory Services implemented a Laboratory
Information System which increases data management capabilities
decreasing turnaround-time for test reports. The laboratory
is able to fax real-time
reports to medical clinics as soon as tests are completed.
