Internal Medicine

Internal Medicine physicians are primary care doctors for adults. Internal Medicine doctors are residency trained on the prevention and treatment of adult diseases.

From wellness and preventive medicine to more serious health concerns or diseases, an internal medicine physician is your partner in health throughout your adult life. This is the doctor you see for common ailments that arise throughout the years and someone who will help you monitor your overall health and wellness.

An internal medicine physician gets to know you, your family history, and your individual concerns. Scroll to the bottom to meet our internal medicine physicians and providers.

Caring for the whole patient

Internal Medicine doctors bring to patients an understanding of preventive medicine and men’s and women’s health. According to your age and health profile, your physician may recommend screenings to identify potential health problems. Internists also evaluate overall health, including weight, exercise habits, nutrition, and stress management. We provide an array of vaccines for adults, including annual flu vaccines each fall.

In addition, Internists are specially trained to solve puzzling diagnostic problems and can handle severe chronic illnesses and situations where several different illnesses may strike at the same time.

Your internal medicine physician helps you coordinate your care with other specialists. Many specialists and diagnostic tests are conveniently located at Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic.
