Dr. Thomas Harris is an experienced urgent care and family medicine doctor at MediServe Walk-In Clinic on Wedington. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and a fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine.
Prior to joining MANA in 2013, Dr. Harris was the Director of Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Mercy Fort Smith. He served as a Special Forces Medic for the United States Army from 1973 to 1975 and the Arkansas National Guard until 1981. His experience as a medic inspired him to complete his undergraduate degree and pursue a medical degree in 1985. Dr. Harris is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.
When he is not caring for patients at MediServe, Dr. Harris enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren. He and his wife take yearly mission trips and donate their time to provide healthcare to children and families in Nicaragua.
