“I am privileged to spend time with kids. They are so unpretentious, so easy to like and so worthwhile of my time. There’s nothing more rewarding than having a 4 year old look into your eyes and say, ‘thank you’.”
Dr. David Jackson has been a pediatrician with Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics since 1986.
He loves summer camp and regularly volunteers as a physician at Camp War Eagle. Short term medical missions have also been a focus of his life and he makes a working trip to Mexico or Central America most years.
David and his wife, Laura, have been married for 37 years and are very proud of their 3 adult children–Aaron, Ben, and Claire, their spouses and especially their grandson, Wendell. All the kids are nature enthusiasts and make their homes in the western states. Aside from making trips to see the kids, his personal interests are reading, biking and hiking. Patients and staff note that conversations with David usually drift toward his children, a good book, or a recent outdoor adventure.
