Dr. Pierce is fellowship-trained in Breast Imaging and provides patients with expert breast imaging care at The Breast Center. She was instrumental in starting and building a dense breast ultrasound screening program and was involved in the earliest phases of obtaining the NAPBC accreditation.
In 2018, Dr. Kelly Pierce was voted as one of the Best Radiologists in Northwest Arkansas by the readers of AY Magazine and was named one of the Best Women in Healthcare by AY magazine in 2020.
Locally and nationally, Dr. Pierce is a regular speaker at breast cancer awareness events. She has been a faculty member and speaker for the Breast Ultrasound Education course: “Intensive Breast Ultrasound,” a national biannual breast meeting that draws national and international course participants. At these meetings, she spoke about our clinic’s experience with screening ultrasounds, as we were some of the earliest adopters of automated screening in the country and the first in Arkansas.
Dr. Pierce is currently serving on the Mammography Clinical Image Review Committee for the Arkansas Department of Health and is an active member of the Society of Breast Imaging. She currently serves as the President of the Arkansas Breast Cancer Specialists. She previously served on the board of directors for Hope Cancer Resources. Dr. Pierce was voted to “Best Doctors in America” by her peers.
Dr. Pierce is the proud mother of two beautiful girls, Gracie and Josie. Her husband, Derrick Pierce, is an optometrist in Bentonville. She is an avid runner and enjoys traveling, biking, cooking, and reading.
