Dr. Patrick McGowan completed his residency in Family Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina at Palmetto Health and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. A native of Springdale, he practices with Dr. DeYoung, Dr. Turner, and his father, Dr. William McGowan, at MANA Family Medicine in Springdale.
After graduating from Springdale High School, Dr. McGowan attended the University of Kansas, where he ran track and cross country for the Jayhawks. He then returned to Arkansas where he completed his Masters in Public Health and Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. His final two years of medical school were done in Fayetteville at UAMS Northwest.
Dr. McGowan enjoys the variety of Family Medicine and developing relationships and goals with his patients in order to meet their health care needs. He is excited to call Northwest Arkansas home with his wife Camryn and their sons William and Luke. Dr. McGowan is grateful to be practicing medicine in his hometown alongside his father. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on Beaver Lake, running, watching the Jayhawks play basketball, and going to Razorback games.
