Dr. Nathan Tobey is a specialist in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic, A MANA Clinic.
He was on the Dean’s Honor Roll during all semesters at the University of Arkansas, received the University of Arkansas Honors College Fellowship and the Frederick A. Kekulé Award for outstanding chemistry major at the University of Arkansas American Chemical Society Achievement Award, and was a University of Arkansas First-Ranked Senior Scholar. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with the Biochemistry option at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville, where he graduated Summa cum laude, and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. He also received the Southwestern Medical Foundation Scholarship.
Dr. Tobey completed his MD at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he was a Fellow in the Department of Pulmonary/Critical Care. He did his residency at the Department of Medicine, University of Washington Affiliated Hospitals.
In addition, Dr. Tobey volunteered at the Hospital Nacional “Dr. Jose Felipe Flores” in Totonicapán, Guatemala while enrolled in a medical Spanish language immersion program.
He enjoys woodworking, traveling, weightlifting, hiking, bicycling, and visiting local record shops.
