Lung cancer is the number one cause of cancer related deaths in the United States mainly because the cancer is not found until it is in its later stages. Lung cancer does not have many symptoms and will often go undiagnosed until it is in later stages. MANA Pulmonologists, or lung specialists, recommend Lung Cancer Screening CT to those who are at risk for Lung Cancer. The low dose CT can save lives by finding the cancer when it is still treatable. Lung Cancer Screening CT exam can find lung cancer in its early stages, similar to how a mammogram can find breast cancer early. More information
