Lung cancer is the number one cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States mainly because the cancer is not found until it is in its later stages.
Free Lung Cancer Screening
A new Lung Screening CT exam can find lung cancer in its early stages when it is still treatable, similar to how a mammogram can find breast cancer early.
MANA Imaging at Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic is a Designated Lung Cancer Screening Center by the American College of Radiology. We have a team of board-certified radiologists and pulmonary medicine doctors who work together to provide lung cancer screening at no cost to patients who qualify.
Do I qualify for the free lung cancer screening CT?
You may qualify for a free lung cancer screening if you have any of the following risk factors and/or qualifications:
Current or former smokers aged 50 years or older
A smoking history of at least 30 pack-years (this means 1 pack a day for 30 years, 2 packs a day for 15 years, etc.)
No history of lung cancer
If you have one or more qualifications, you are at high risk for lung cancer and a screening is recommended.
