JDRF One Walk

Sponsored by Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics, A MANA Clinic

To support and provide hope to our patients and friends with Type 1 Diabetes, Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics, a MANA clinic, is sponsoring the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s One Walk at the University of Arkansas Gardens on October 14, 2017!

We’re taking steps to help JDRF progressively remove the impact of type 1 diabetes (T1D) from people’s lives until no one has to fear developing this disease. By joining our Walk to Cure Diabetes team and making a donation to JDRF, you’ll raise money to help fund critical T1D research and create a world without T1D. The local JDRF branch provides our patient families with important support, education, and connections to other families with type 1.

Type 1 diabetes is a life-threatening autoimmune disease in which a person’s pancreas stops producing insulin. It strikes both children and adults suddenly and changes life as they know it forever. It cannot be prevented and there is no cure.

Will you accept the challenge to make a difference by walking with us? Just click on the “Join Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics Team” button, make a donation, and start fundraising. If you have a family member or friend with Type 1, you may want to consider starting a team in their honor!
