MANA Gives to Teen Action Support Center

August 2017 MANA Staff Giving

On Thursday, August 24, MANA physicians and staff presented a check for $2,000 to the Teen Action and Support Center’s (TASC) executive director, Madi Hutson at FirstCare Family Doctors, a MANA Clinic in Tontitown. This Northwest Arkansas organization was elected to receive funds from the MANA Staff Giving program because of TASC’s continued support and commitment to helping young people in our communities become successful adults.

The important involvement of Northwest Arkansas residences enables TASC to serve hundreds of teens and their families by way of four programs: [in]Service, First Steps, Restore, and The Closet. By connecting teens to their communities through service opportunities, they are not only encouraged to reach their full potential through practical learning experiences, but also empowered to take control of their futures.

MANA Staff Giving is a optional program for MANA staff and physicians to give back to organizations that help the health of our community. Each month, the staff elect a deserving non-profit to receive the donation and present the check to them at a different MANA location each month. For more information, visit the MANAGives page.
