Shawn D. Marvin, MD joined MANA’s Imaging clinic on June 1st, and we are pleased to welcome him to the MANA family.
Dr. Marvin graduated with honors from University of Central Arkansas, earning his B.S. in Biology summa cum laude as well as lettering all four years in soccer and being chosen as Student Athlete of the Year in 2000-2001.
He then went on to take his medical degree from University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, again with honors. Dr. Marvin completed a radiology residency at UAMS and a Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at the University of Florida Gainesville.
Dr. Marvin returned to Arkansas and has been in private practice for more than a decade. His experience is in diagnostic radiology. He was the Director of Radiology at National Park Medical Center and a partner at Hot Springs Radiology.
Dr. Marvin and his wife and four children are now living in Northwest Arkansas. Dr. Marvin continues to make sports part of his life, both as a fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the coach of his kids’ teams.
Dr. Marvin is a wonderful addition to our team.
