What our patients say about Televisits

“I live 1 1/2 hours away from the clinic and snow was forecasted, so I was extremely grateful to have a video call with my doctor. He asked the relevant questions and was able to prescribe the needed medication.”
– T.B.

What is a TeleVisit?

A TeleVisit is a real-time appointment by smartphone, tablet, or computer. A nurse or doctor will go through your symptoms, recommend next steps or treatment, and can even send a prescription if you need one.

Is a TeleVisit covered by my insurance?

During the COVID-19 pandemic, most major insurance plans, Medicaid, and Medicare will cover TeleVisits like a standard office visit. Co-pays and deductibles will apply. If you have questions, check with your insurance plan to confirm coverage of telemedicine.

Can I get prescriptions?

Yes, our providers can renew prescriptions or give new prescriptions. We cannot give Schedule II Narcotics.

What device can I use?

You can use a computer, smart phone, or tablet. The device must have a camera and a microphone. Use the healow app on your smartphone. If you are accessing from your computer, use Google Chrome.
