TeleVisits are face-to-face appointments with your regular MANA doctors using the myMANA health portal on your desktop computer or the healow application on your mobile phone and tablet. Physicians at Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic and MANA Family Medicine practices are using TeleVisits to serve patients with common health problems like digestive upsets, sore throat, allergies, and more. Most prescription refills can also be handled with a TeleVisit.
Most insurance plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid, will pay for a TeleVisit just as they cover an in-office visit. Co-pays and deductibles will apply.
TeleVisits are a safer way to get high quality healthcare during COVID-19 restrictions.
TeleVisits also save you time. You don’t need to travel to our office to see us.
What are TeleVisits?
Have you had a video meeting or a FaceTime call? If so, a TeleVisit will feel familiar. You see your doctor, and your doctor sees you. The visit is secure and just as private as your in-person visit. You can use your myMANA portal, but it’s easy — and safe — to login with your healow app.
Your physician still has access to your health records and provides all of the support you expect.
How can I get a TeleVisit?
You will need to register for a free myMANA health portal account if you don’t already have one. Download the healow app on your smartphone if you want to have your TeleVisit on your phone. You’ll need to call or use your myMANA portal to request your TeleVist. Find more details at Steps for a TeleVisit.
Patients across the country have already been using and enjoying TeleVisits. MANA is happy to bring this new service to Northwest Arkansas.
What about pediatrics?
Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics is using TeleVisits only for COVID-19 Screening. Please call (479) 442-7322 for more information.
