Dana Fields, APRN, has joined the MANA Urgent Care team at the College location.
Dana received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, took a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Florida State University, and went on to Auburn University for her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing.
Dana has worked at a number of different healthcare facilities, including Hember Healthcare in Opelika, Alabama; Women’s Hope Medical Clinic in Auburn, Alabama; Lee Obstetrics and Gynecology; the East Alabama Medical Center; and at the Community Clinic in Fayetteville.
Dana worked as a school nurse, also in Auburn, and as a childbirth educator. She was also a Care Coordinator in two different locations. This broad experience has given Dana a strong background in patient education and direct care alike. She likes to work with patients to make them feel “welcomed, understood, and informed.”
Dana is a mother of three boys ages 12, 15 and 17. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Come by the College Avenue location to meet Dana! We’re excited to have her as part of our team.
