Dr. Andrea Placzek is joining The Breast Center of Northwest Arkansas, A MANA Clinic on August 15, 2022. Dr. Placzek is fellowship trained in breast imaging. She has experience interpreting mammography images, breast MRI, and breast ultrasounds.
Dr. Placzek completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and did an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Her residency in Diagnostic Radiology was also at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Dr. Placzek went on to fulfill a breast imaging fellowship at the University of Missouri at Columbia. She came to Northwest Arkansas in 2016 and has been in practice as a clinical breast radiologist since then.
Dr. Placzek is a member of the Arkansas Radiological Society, the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, and the Society of Breast Imaging.
In addition to breast imaging, Dr. Placzek enjoys gardening, traveling, and exploring Northwest Arkansas. She is married with four children.
