Dr. Jonathan Kruger will join Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic’s Rheumatology team on April 26, 2021. Dr. Kruger will work with Dr. Song Zang to provide quality, compassionate rheumatology care to people in Northwest Arkansas.
Dr. Kruger is fluent in English and Spanish at conversational levels.
Dr. Kruger is Board Certified by the American Board of Rheumatology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition, he is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology.
Originally from Kansas, Kruger attended medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. He completed an Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Rheumatology at Utah University School of Medicine in Salt Lake. He has practiced as a rheumatologist in Colorado and Utah since 2015.
During medical school, Dr. Kruger began to explore his interest in healthcare during a summer hospital internship in Kansas. He went on to serve as a volunteer in London, South Africa, and Lesotho (other African nations), where he helped run emergency, urgent care, and primary care clinics and cared for patients from a variety of different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
When he is not at the clinic or caring for patients, Dr. Kruger’s hobbies include road cycling, hiking, gardening, and traveling. Mixing business with pleasure in his travels, he taught English in Prague after college.
