Welcome, Dr. May!

Dr. Michael May has joined MANA Family Medicine South. Dr. May has varied interests and a wide-ranging background. He completed both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Arkansas before deciding to pursue a medical degree. While at the U of A, he was active in Farm House Fraternity and served as a 4-H State Officer.

He was a teaching assistant in ballroom dancing, an Adventure Camp counselor for the Air Force, and volunteered at the Fayetteville Free Clinic (now Welcome Health).

This was also when he became a Razorback fan, a passion which has stayed with him.

Dr. May went on to earn his M.D. at UAMS and completed his residency in Family Medicine in Pine Bluff. He has an extensive background in biomedical research. He is a member of the American Medical Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. May is recently married. His wife teaches Geometry at Bentonville High School, and they are delighted to make their new home in Northwest Arkansas. They look forward to enjoying the outdoors in their free time.

We are happy to welcome Dr. May to the MANA Family!
